*Questions related to Pinterest that I once asked myself and have been asked by friends and family since I joined*
Why should you join Pinterest you ask? 

• Well let me just say if you are into all things DIY, Crafts, Cooking, Fashion, Advice, and anything else under the sun then this website is for you. OH! and if you are planning a wedding....ya this will help you out in everything you could ever want.

What is Pinterest you ask?

• Well think of it as bookmarking all of your favorite websites, pages, and articles. 

But why do I need Pinterest to do that when my Internet Browser does that for me?

• Well yes you can do that and a lot of people do. I still do. But this isn't just having a website at your finger tips when you don't want to search for the same page again or have to type in a web address. Think of it this way. Do you have a bulletin board at home. Filled with pictures, recipes, reminders, or ideas? Well pinterest is exactly that. It is a giant bulletin board filled of things you love.  

What does Pinterest do for me exactly? 

• Pin things you find while browsing the web so that you can find it back later!
• Search other people's pins and maybe find something you are looking for.
• You can browse by category (Art, Crafts, Design, Education, Food, Weddings, Etc)
• Follow your friends and family and their pins. 
• You can create multiple boards for pins to keep them organized. I have a boards for: Crafts, Christmas, Things I Love, Wedding, Elephants, Ideas, etc. The possibilities are endless.  
• Share your boards with others! Great way to share a Christmas list!
• Create a shared board where you and others can pin to the same board. Great way to help plan a party!
• Upload your on pins straight from your computer or phone!
• Find great ideas, blogs, websites, and other things that you wouldn't normal come across.

What are Pins?

• Pins are links to websites displayed by pictures from the webpage. 
• Pins can be anything but please read any guidelines and rules by the owners of the website. 
• If you don't want to Pin a pin you found on Pinterest but you think it's a neat Pin you can always like the Pin much like you do on Facebook. Don't worry you can always view your likes just in case you change your mind.

What if I Pin something in the wrong place or Pin something I don't want?

• Don't worry your Pins are not permanent and can be edited and removed. Just click the Edit button when hovering over your pin and from there you can change the title, description, and the board it is pinned to. You can also remove the pin from this page as well.

What if I don't want to follow certain pins by my friends?

• Say you have a friend or family member that is always pinning things you don't like and you are sick of seeing said certain pins. Before you go deleting them off of your PinFeed completely you can always unfollow that pinners board that you don't like. 
• And no your friends and family won't know you unfollowed their board or even them.

How do I join Pinterest?

• There are a few ways to join. You can either request to join through the website which may not work right away. When I joined a year ago it was like this....tried joining through the site its self but they had what they called a waiting list to join. BUT if you got invited by a friend through email you would be able to join right away. Whether or not it is like that now I am not sure. If it is and you don't know anyone who has Pinterest let me know and one of us will invite you.
